One Stop Shop - Domestic Abuse One Stop Shops offer free advise, information and 
support from a range of agencies under one roof to help victims of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse can affect anyone and therefore if you are a man or a woman and would like to discuss your issues, your are welcome to attend.  No appointment required, just turn up.  Buckland and Whitfield Childrens Centre, St Nicholas Church, The Linces, Dover CT16 2BT, 01304 826110, Tuesdays 9.30am to 12 noon.

Citizens Advice Bureau - Helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free independent and confidential advice.  Maison Dieu Gardens, Maison Dieu Road, Dover, Kent CT16 1RW, 0844 848 7978, Tuesday - Thursday 10am to 12 noon.

Deal Police Station - Kent Police, Ladywell, Dover, Kent CY16 1DJ, Telephone 101, 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm Sundays

East Kent Rape Line - Supporting survivors of rape and childhood sexual abuse. Telephone 0800 428 2818, Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 9.30pm, Thursday 12 noon to 3pm.

Elder Abuse Response Helpline - This confidential service gives information about elder abuse and emotional support to anyone concerned about the abuse of an older person.  Action on Elder Abuse, PO Box 60001, Streatham, SW16 9BY. 0808 808 8141.

Kent Adult Social Services - If you are finding everyday activities difficult to manage, you or someone on your behalf can contact us to discuss your situation.  County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ, 08458 247 100.  The call centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
