Houses
House captains are elected from Year 6 at the start of each new academic year.
Year 6 children nominate themselves, prepare a speech, present to their houses and then their peers vote. House captaincy and badges are then awarded in collective worship.
Every child and adult at our school is a member of a house team.

The school’s PE t-shirt is available in all 5 colours.
We ask that when purchasing PE uniform you buy the appropriate colour house t shirt.
During the course of the school year we hold various house activities which end with a summer sports event.
Children can earn extra house points throughout the year by demonstrating that they are a positive and thoughtful member of their house.
We aim to ensure that all siblings are placed in the same houses.
The children created their own mottos for their houses:
Maple:Shine bright and be courageous. |
Willow:Like the willow tree let us blossom and grow. |
Sycamore:Be blue, be true, that’s you! Sycamore! |
Mulberry:The power of purple makes our team work. |
Birch:We are bold, We are brave, We are Birch! |
