Breakfast Club
At The Downs CEP School we offer a breakfast and after school club providing extra child care for parents.
The Downs CEP breakfast club has two sessions to choose from:
Session 1 runs from 7:45 – 8:35am. This session costs £4.50 per session and provides children with breakfast.
Session 2 runs from 8:15-8:35am. This session costs £3 per session and does not include breakfast.
Breakfast offers a drink which includes various juices, water and milk, and a choice of cereal, fruit, and toast. This will be varied during the term with muffins, crumpets, teacakes etc. being offered on special days.
Bookings must be made and paid for via the School Gateway App. on the 'Clubs' tab. For any cash payment, please contact the school office.

After School Club
Stay and Play with Team Theme Kent
Our after school club provider is Team Theme Kent. This is the same company that provide our 'pop up pool' that we use to run our swimming curriculum. Team Theme Kent run two 'Stay and Play' sessions:
Session 1 runs from 3:15-4:40pm and costs £6.
Session 2 runs from 3:15-6pm and costs £12.

The purpose of After School Club is to provide an extended service offering a safe, high quality post-school club that meets the needs of both the parents and guardians, and children. This means as a parent or guardian, you know that your child is safe and happy in a club that is reliable and offers a consistent service. An environment where they feel supported and encouraged. It is a place to be with friends and make new ones, and be able to try out new activities, to relax, to have fun and enjoy themselves. We believe all children have the right to play; play is the basis to providing healthy development and the wellbeing of individuals. We provide a balanced structure of activities and play experiences, tailored to the current weather environment.
