Year 4 Imaginary Stories

Here are some imaginary stories that were written by our Year 4 pupils. If you could write a story about ANYTHING, what would you write?

Mia:

Charlie and Jack were playing with toy animals in Charlie’s bedroom when suddenly the toys became alive!!! Jack was afraid as he didn’t like it when teddies come alive. Charlie was excited and thought it would be an adventure. The animals raced down the staircase towards the outside door, Jack and Charlie followed. As they rushed downstairs the animals broke mum’s special vase. Charlie screamed at the animals with horror and Jack laughed at Charlie. Suddenly mum and dad came home and saw the house was in a mess. Mum thought that Jack and Charlie had broken her precious vase. Mum was cross. Charlie ran after the animals which had run through an invisible door at the bottom of the garden. Charlie spotted them running through the garden. Jack came out and said “Wait for me Charlie”. The animals went through the invisible door, Jack caught up with Charlie and then they went through the invisible door together.

Mum and Dad searched the whole garden but they didn’t find Jack or Charlie or the toy animals. So Mum and Dad went back inside when all of a sudden Jack and Charlie found themselves back in Charlie’s garden but it was still cold outside and they rushed inside to the warm heated house.

Mum was angry at them for breaking her vase and messing up the house. Mum sent them to her room but the toy animals were there. Jack was staying for the night. When they were asleep the toy’s dressed them up in bunny rabbit costumes! In the morning when they woke up and heard someone laughing it was Mum and Dad and Rose, Rose is there friend who lived across the road Jack, Charlie, Mum and Dad laughed at Jack and Charlie. “Don’t be silly” said Mum and Dad. They left the room then Rose told them about the thing that happened to her. She was not dressed as a pink fluffy bunny… she was dressed as a hedgehog !!!!!!!

Dillon:

Imogen is singing to herself while she is reading a girlie magazine. After a while Miss Smith calls “your pancakes are ready!” As the children eat their delicious steaming hot pancakes Mrs Smith got the pink and purple limousine ready to go to the beach.

When they arrived at the beach, Mrs Smith, Edward and Imogen got out of the limousine. Suddenly they saw a green slimy monster with red eyes and teeth. The monster chased them, they all jumped in the pink and purple limo. The limo drives into the sea. All of a sudden there is a flash of light and Mrs Smith becomes a super hero. She zaps the monster with a light saber and the monster shrinks. Mrs Smith puts the monster in a jar.

They all go to Hollywood and make a film about the adventure.
